Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler, stars of Crikey! It's the Iwins, announced they are expecting!

August 11, 2020

Congratulations are in order for Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler Powell, as the two announced they were expecting earlier this morning on Instagram!

"Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021," wrote Bindi on her post.

"Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter. We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us. Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes & prayers to our little sweetheart. Love & light. ❤️"

The exciting news comes just four months after their whirlwind wedding at the Australia Zoo. Although the wedding originally was supposed to have more than 200 guests, restrictions due to COVID-19 forced Bindi and Chandler to cut back to just close family and, of course, the many animals at the zoo!

The two lovebirds actually met at the zoo in 2003, when Chandler was visiting Australia as part of a national wakeboarding competition. Bindi just so happened to be giving the tour he was on.
